Welcome to the Well.
Jacob's Well is a church made up of everyday people simply seeking authentic and relevant Christianity. Like the early church in the book of Acts, we're just trying to get closer to God, draw people to Him and serve Him by serving others. Simply said, Jacob's Well is a place to come in, drink up and then get out.

Don't get us wrong, we love big churches. They draw a lot of people to Christ which (since the last time we checked) is a good thing. But right now, at Jacob's Well, God has us small in number. Still, we've got significantly more than the disciples, so we don't make excuses. In John 14:12-14, Christ says, "I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these..." "You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." Small and mighty.

When you come to the well, you need to bring your own bucket. But maybe your bucket isn't in the best condition. It might be full of junk or dirty or broken. No matter the condition, God is ready to fill you and then some. He will dispose the junk, clean you up, repair you and fill you with His life-giving water. Want to give yourself completely to Him? Find comfort
in the uncomfortable.
Don't let the cool website, coffee and laid-back personality fool ya. While we love hanging out with Christ and each other, if that's all we do, we've really missed the point. Jesus called us to share the Gospel. And to heal the sick, feed the poor, and love our brother. That's some scary and heavy stuff. (I thought church was supposed to be easy?) Reaching out is not an extension of what we do at church, it is church. We get uncomfortable when we're sitting around and that's the way we like it.
